Rena was a wonderful mare, She had two colts that have gone on to become good reining horses. She has been on many of trails all over the united states. She helped me train my two girls how to ride horses and now they have each won a saddle doing Gymkhana's. Rena we love you. Debbie, Logan and Korbyn Woods.
On December 3rd you came to pick up our beloved "Lady" and I wanted to thank you for being fast, respectable and understanding during our difficult time. I would like to share Lady's story with you for your website as she was much more to my family than just a horse.
My parents bought Lady for me 24 years ago, I begged for days for them to buy me a sickly thin black mare. They agreed and we nursed her back to health and soon discovered Lady was the most gentle and loving horse we have ever owned. As her name states she was lady like and loved to be fussed over. She was a very trusted trail partner and my best friend whose neck I cried into many nights. Her and I spent 24 years together, I grew up riding her and she taught me so much over the years. In her later years she taught my children to ride and we all hoped she would be with us through the birth of my 3rd child but unfortunately she has passed on and we will always remember how sweet and loving she was. To this day I still look at her stall and miss seeing her pink nose over the fence calling to me for her dinner.
I have attached a picture of her with my oldest son. Thank you for reading Lady's story.
